An interview with Pam Muniz, Yoga Teacher
Why do you teach yoga?
Teaching yoga is part of my own personal practice. I teach to share the gift of connecting with self. It was on a yoga mat in my yoga journey where I believe I met my soul, my truth and a higher power that I know as god. In the stillness and depth of turning inward, joy and peace appeared.
What has yoga helped you with the most in your personal life?
Yoga brought a much deeper understanding of my body universe and how it’s actually functioning and processing the world we live in. It opened a door into my darkness and brought light. Yoga encourages and supports my desire to always remain the observer and learner.
What is your favorite hot drink?
I absolutely love hot coffee in the morning and hot black licorice tea in the evening.
What/who inspires you?
Everyone inspires me. Be it through the darkness or the light, I aspire to learn and apply all lessons and wisdom. I have learned from so many be it through education, pain or happiness. I truly believe we are all spiritual beings having human experiences. And it all matters and fuels me to keep exploring. Most importantly I would have to say that anyone or any philosophy that is authentic has my full respect and appreciation.
What is your idea of the perfect cozy day?
