Dharma Talks

Discussions on Yoga, Holistic Healing, and Life

Dharma talks are traditionally a public discourse held on a topic of sprituality or enlightenment, hosted by a monk. While we will be carrying the spirit of sharing wisdom with the community, we will be offering it in a modern way.

Each month, you can enjoy a free web based talk hosted by Prajja Center teachers. We will cover a diverse range of topics from beginner breathing practices and yoga for various conditions to in-depth looks at anatomy, energy medicine, sound healing, and more!

Each talk will last approximately 30 minutes with 20 minutes after for your Questions and our Answers. Talks will be recorded and saved to our private facebook group in addition to the audio being available right here on this page. We’re looking forward to sharing with you!

Upcoming Talk: Monday, February 3rd @8pm

The Healing power of chanting mantras

With Dr. Mary Kirkendoll

Did you know that some people use only chanting as their personal yoga practice? Dr. Mary Kirkendoll will be joining us to share a few mantras (chants) that we can use silently or out loud to generate healing in the body and spirit.
Mary will be joining us at the studio in March for an immersion training on Mantra yoga practices. It will be an AMAZING class for yoga teachers and students alike. Be sure to check it out and get registered, payment plans are available.

Presented by Mary Kirkendoll, owner of the Eudora Yoga Center in Eudora, Kansas. Born and raised in California, Mary earned three degrees in classical flute performance and has taught and performed classical contemporary music around the world. In 2009 she was introduced to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and will be forever grateful for the opportunity to be a student of this beautiful practice. She received yoga teacher certifications and is thankful to all of her many teachers for their support and guidance. In 2015 Mary sold her flutes, opened the Eudora Yoga Center, and is following her interests in Sanskrit and meditation. She lives with her husband above the yoga studio in downtown Eudora.
